Questions for the written examinations are chosen from those listed here. The Fencing Officials Commission strongly recommends that Referee candidates study the USFA Fencing Rules prior to taking an examination. If a candidate is unable to find the answer to a specific question in the Rules, an FOC Examiner may be consulted. A list of current FOC Examiners appears at the end of this Study Guide.
